If you are unable to log in to EyeCareConnect after updating Windows XP

The service pack 2 update of Windows XP contains a "popup blocker". This feature is designed to keep unwanted popup ads from appearing on your desktop. However, it may also interfere with your normal EyeCareConnect login by suppressing the Location Selection screen which normally appears after entering your user id and password. You can confirm this is happening if your browser displays the yellow "information bar" below the menu area, as shown:

Look especially for the text "Pop-up blocked. To see this pop-up or additional options click here..." Click your mouse on the yellow information bar message and select the option "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site..." after which the following message box should appear:

Simply select "Yes" and you will be able to log in and gain access to the Location Selection window. This is the recommended approach and will leave the popup blocker active for all other sites except EyeCareConnect.
